Tecmo has announced that it has made an agreement with Ubi Soft that will allow the company to include the Ape Escape monkeys in the North American version of Monster Rancher 4. Players can raise and train the monkeys just as they would with any other creatures in the game.
"We are delighted to include the apes from such a popular and well-loved franchise," said John Inada, director of sales and marketing for Tecmo. "It is a rare treat that fans of both titles will get to experience. I can only see this as a clear indication of how much farther we have gone to ensure that Monster Rancher 4 is the best in the series to date."
Monster Rancher 4 is scheduled for release this fall.
