Ubi Soft's Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation 2 has begun shipping to North American retailers and should be available for purchase early next week. Like the original before it, Monaco 2 is licensed by the Automobile Club of Monaco and boasts 17 authentic GP tracks, 11 teams, and 22 drivers. In developing the game, Ubi Soft also sought the help of Renault, a popular European car manufacturer and GP racing sponsor, to ensure a high level of realism in Monaco 2's physics engine.
The game's single-player element lets players race in one of eight different modes, including career mode and scenario mode. To lengthen Monaco 2's life cycle, Ubi Soft incorporated a complete track editor and several multiplayer features that are available through the company's free online service.
Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation 2 retails for US$39.99.
