Serial entrepreneur Trip Hawkins (founder of Electronic Arts, 3DO, and now Digital Chocolate, where he is that company's CEO) and Square-Enix producer and head of its mobile game division Kosei Ito will be the keynote speakers at the Mobile Game Conference next month. The July 13-14 event is being produced by The Game Initiative, the Austin-based organization that created and still puts on the annual Austin Game Conference. According to the event producers, the mobile conference will focus on "design, construction, and potential" surrounding mobile games. Other speakers include Jason Ford, newly appointed VP of Strategy and Planning at Namco America; M:Metrics senior analyst Seamus McAteer; and John Cahill, GM of Yahoo's Mobile Games division.
