Fntastic’s highly-anticipated MMO survival shooter The Day Before has received an impressive new trailer alongside some new gameplay details.

Alongside this trailer, a new interview was published with the game's developer 'Fntastic', revealing some additional gameplay details as well as information about the game's console release, and a possible beta.

　　Heavily inspired by titles such as The Last of Us and The Division, The Day Before will be an open-world post-apocalyptic MMO survival shooter in which players explore skyscraper city "New Fortune City". "The Day Before is an open-world, post-apocalyptic sandbox", the developer said when asked about the game's core gameplay and whether it will have story missions. "Here, players will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in this new world, exploring a huge skyscraper city called New Fortune City, purchasing houses and vehicles, and creating unique, personal narratives along the way. While our game predominantly leans towards player-versus-player engagements, we will also incorporate quests centered around the restoration of society. In The Day Before, the fate of humanity truly rests in your hands."

　　We know that The Day Before is coming to PC on November 10 after being delayed earlier this year due to trademark issues, but what about the game's rumored next-gen console versions? According to the developer, the team's initial focus is the PC version, but console versions are indeed being planned. More information on the PS5/XSX versions will be shared after the game's PC launch. "We are excited to confirm that The Day Before will launch first on PC, slated for November 10", the team said in the interview. "Immediately following this release, we will be sharing a roadmap of forthcoming updates to keep our players engaged and excited. This roadmap will include new features and content additions, emphasizing our commitment to continuous game development.

　　Our initial focus is on the PC platform, but rest assured, console versions are next in line. The release dates for console versions will be announced soon after our PC launch, so stay tuned for updates."

　　Interestingly, the team also appears to be planning a closed beta for the game. "While we aren’t considering an Early Access release, we are planning to conduct a closed beta phase prior to the game’s launch."
