Mirror's Edge Catalyst is not that far from release, and in just a few days some lucky players will be able to try out the game thanks to the closed beta. If you're dying to know more about the new game from DICE, you'll be happy to know that some new details have emerged online on the game's HUD and the upcoming closed beta.

　　According to the Mirror's Edge Official Twitter profile, players will be able to turn off not only the enemy health bars but also Runner Vision. As the game will sport beautiful graphics, turning off HUD elements will allow players to get an even better look at the game's environments.

　　As already mentioned, the Mirror's Edge Catalyst closed beta will begin later this week. Codes are going to be sent soon to selected participants, but it seems like players won't be able to play the beta as soon as it becomes available, as it won't be possible to pre-load it. The final size of the Mirror's Edge Catalyst closed beta has yet to be confirmed, so we don't yet know how long it will take to complete the download for those with slow connection speeds.

　　Yesterday, the Mirror's Edge Catalyst official PC hardware requirements have been revealed. Both minimum and recommended requirements are in line with modern high profile games, so you won't have any trouble running the new entry of the Mirror's Edge series if you are able to run most recent games.
