While the power of the Nintendo 64 has been seen on Doom, Hexen, and Duke Nukem, there has yet to be anything substantial on Quake. An early version of the game was shown at E3 in Atlanta, but it received mixed reactions due to the absence of one of the PC's best features - multiplayer deathmatches.
Well, N64 gamers, fear not. Midway has now decided to delay the game in order to add the all-important four-player deathmatch option. When the game does hit, players will be able to grab a few friends and duke it out Quake-style.
