Microsoft has filed a trademark application for "Every Street United," the name of the Xbox TV show that the company reportedly greenlit earlier this month.

　　The trademark application was filed on October 17 with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). It covers "Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring sports provided through television and webcasts" as well as "Downloadable video recordings featuring sports; Pre-recorded DVDs featuring sports."

　　Despite the growing evidence, Microsoft has yet to formally announce Every Street United. If accurate, it would be the first reality show from Xbox Entertainment Studios, the business unit established last year and led by former CBS TV executive Nancy Tellem.

　　Every Street United will reportedly span eight 30-minute episodes that will each profile a local street soccer player in countries like the United States, Spain, Holland, France, Argentina, Brazil, Ghana, and South Korea. The final episode could be shot at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and feature the eight players going head-to-head in a 4 vs. 4 match.

　　The only Xbox One TV programming announced thus far is the Halo show produced by Saving Private Ryan director Steven Spielberg and the upcoming Quantum Break show that will tie into the game.

　　Microsoft corporate vice president Phil Spencer said last month that Microsoft was exploring "hundreds" of ideas for original Xbox video programming and that an announcement about the first offering would be made "pretty soon."

　　A Microsoft representative told GameSpot, "This series has not been announced and we do not have any specifics to share at this time. We're excited to be working on several projects and look forward to providing additional details soon."

　　The Xbox One launches in 13 territories across the world on November 22 for $500.
