GameSpot has learned that Microsoft has begun shipping its Step 2 Xbox software development kits to developers. As expected, the design has been tweaked from the traditional tower design of the first XDKs, to a flatter silver design with a green eye on top. According to development sources, the NV20 graphics synthesizer is included in the latest version of the Xbox SDK. GameSpot expects specific game announcements in the next several weeks, as development of Xbox games are further accelerated.
