Microsoft has severed all ties with controversial British YouTube personality Olajide "KSI" Olatunji following his appearance at an Xbox One event last night in Leicester Square, London.

　　KSI, whose YouTube channel boasts more than 4 million subscribers, performed at the event with rapper Sway. He will not work on Microsoft's behalf again.

　　"At the Xbox One launch in London last night, KSI performed a song with three other artists, which was one part of a ten-hour event featuring a main stage show, Xbox One gameplay, and a midnight launch for hundreds of our fans," a Microsoft spokesperson told GamesIndustry International. "This does not represent Microsoft's endorsement of KSI's personal views, and we are not planning on working with KSI in the future."

　　Microsoft corporate vice president Phil Harrison, speaking from the event in London last night, told the site that he was not aware of Olatunji's reputation. Olatunji has not commented on Microsoft's decision to drop him.

　　Olatunji has been a controversial figure. Last year, he was banned from all future Eurogamer Expo events based on his actions towards women during the show. He would later apologize and remove the video from his account, though other videos show him conducting himself similarly in public.
