The ecosystem that Microsoft has built around Xbox is about to get a hotly requested feature.
Through his Twitter account, the Vice President of the Xbox and Windows gaming platform, Mike Ybarra, has responded to the possibility of giving away newly purchased games to a friend with a brief, hopeful and very illustrative statement "Not Far".

Failing to know more details about the process, this should mean that the players could offer games to friends taking full advantage of the offers and discounts of the Xbox store, to be able to give away digital reservations of games or contents and what not.
Being able to give away games is something that's already possible on other platforms. For now, we will have to keep our eye on the upcoming Xbox updates and hope that they will not delay in offering new details around the initiative.
Maybe in the next Xbox update, we could possibly see this feature of "Gift To A Friend". We'll let you know once it becomes available.
