This morning, French publisher Microids announced the development of a 3D adventure game called Syberia. Not to be confused with now defunct developer Xatrix's Cyberia series of action games, Syberia is currently being headed up by Benoit Sokal, the creator of Amerzone, an adventure game that was recently released in the US. Beyond stating that the game will have "full 3D graphics" and will incorporate "challenging but intelligent puzzles," the publisher did not provide any details on the game, its plot, or its game mechanics.
Microids is expected to release more information, and hopefully some screenshots, in early January. We'll have an update for you then.
