Metroid Prime 4, the fourth entry in the series announced last year coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch sometime in the future, has yet to receive any official detail, outside what has been revealed during last year's E3, but recently we have been learning more about the game thanks to leaks.
Doctre81, who originally uncovered the LinkedIn profile of the Bandai Namco Singapore employee who was working on Metroid Prime 4, made another discovery recently. According to another LinkedIn profile, Metroid Prime 4 may have an online component.
Last week, another report on the game has come in, stating that the fourth entry in the series is indeed being developed by Bandai Namco in collaboration with Nintendo.
Specifically, the highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch exclusive is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, which we understand is lead studio on the game in collaboration with Nintendo.
This studio houses some former LucasArts Singapore staff who previously worked on, among other things, the ambitious canceled Star Wars 1313.
Metroid Prime 4 launches on a yet to be confirmed release date on Nintendo Switch. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
