Metal: Hellsinger is an FPS rhythm game that combines the addictive nature of Score Attack games with the frenetic timing of hitting things to the beat of the music. The game has become popular thanks to its unique music and gimmick that allows players to run through fun experiences in short bursts. Now, The Outsiders and Funcom have announced an expansion to the game in the form of a DLC that will arrive on March 29.

　　This new DLC introduces two brand-new original songs to Metal: Hellsinger. This DLC, dubbed Dream of the Beast, also introduces new talents to perform for these tracks: The soaring powerhouse that is Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil, and the Searing Demon voice of Will Ramos from Lorna Shore. The two new songs will be available for free in an update that will be available on the same day as the release of Dream of the Beast.

　　The Dream of the Beast DLC will come packed with more content on top of the two new songs. This includes a new weapon in the form of The Red Right Hand, a machine gun that blasts through demons in rhythmic bursts of death. Additionally, the update will also have three sizzling outfits that also come with their own gameplay modifiers. As such, Metal: Hellsinger players will be able to experience the game once again with a completely different beat and playstyle.

　　Honestly, Metal: Hellsinger doesn't have much in terms of content, but damn, does it make up for it with its replayability. Its arcade style and dynamic approach to battles and music help the game become a unique experience you will not find in other games like it. Honestly, just the soundtrack alone is enough reason to purchase this game, as a lot of effort went into making multiple versions of the same track with different compositions.

　　Of course, you can expect the new performances featuring Cristina and Will to have the same degree of care put into them. With the positive reception the game has gotten, there's plenty of possibilities when it comes to DLC. Not too long ago, Funcom gave the reins to the players and allowed them to create their own stages with a modding tool, for example. Metal: Hellsinger is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox X|S. The Dream of the Beast DLC will be available on March 29.
