Metal Gear Solid V's Survival mode was detailed last week, and players will be play it for themselves when the next patch arrives April 7. The patch will also make some balance adjustments and give players the ability to set background music to random.
Konami detailed the patch in a post on its website. Balance adjustments made include the damage associated with fulton balloons. They'll be more difficult to destroy; you previously needed one shot to take them out, but they'll need more to be taken down once the patch launches.
The influence of latency on player actions will also be reduced. The character could warp forward when executing a dive or sprinting, and now that will be less likely to happen.
The amount of GP obtained from game modes and the trigger detection on weapons like claymores and mines will also be adjusted.
Additionally, the patch makes it so the personal stats screens of other players are now viewable--things like the player's characters and number of MB coins are not displayed. If you want to change the pitch of your character's voice, the patch makes that possible as well.
You can delve further into the details of the patch here or see a full list of the patch notes below.
