Original PlayStation game Mega Man Legends 2 will be released on the PlayStation Network next week, joining the first game, which is already available, Sony has confirmed. The announcement was made as part of the newest PlayStation Blogcast, as reported by Game Informer.
The first Mega Man Legends launched on PSN in September 2015 as a $10 PSOne Classic title across PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PSP.
Pricing for the sequel on PSN was not mentioned, nor was a specific release date, but we should know more when the PlayStation Store refreshes early next week.
Although Mega Man Legends 2 the game is not available yet on PSN, a series of PSN avatars are. You can see them all here on the PlayStation Store website.
Mega Man Legends 2 was released in 2000, produced by series designer Keiji Inafune and published by Capcom. GameSpot's review scored the game an 8.2/10.
"As the Legends series is further refined, it becomes obvious that the series going 3D was not merely a gimmick," we said at the time. "Mega Man Legends 2 fixes a lot of the flaws in the original and is a substantial improvement on the Legends formula. Capcom has turned what began as a mere spinoff into a worthy standalone franchise."
