One of the most iconic PlayStation franchises, MediEvil, is coming back to PlayStation 4 in the near future, and new details on the upcoming game have been revealed recently.
The MediEvil PlayStation 4 remake will be a full remake of the original PlayStation release, and not of the PSP release as speculated previously, and it will be based upon the original designs and art, SIE's Shawn Layden confirmed in a recent podcast. Development is being handled by Sony in collaboration with Other Ocean Interactive, but members of the original development team, Guerilla Cambridge, are also working on it. The first trailer for the game is going to be released next week, on October 31st.
The MediEvil PlayStation 4 remake has been announced in December last year. Very little has been said about the game back then, only that it will come with 4K support on PlayStation 4 Pro. With the trailer coming up in less than a week, it won't take long to finally see Sir Daniel Fortesque come back in all the glory that modern gaming hardware can afford.
The MediEvil PS4 remake has yet to receive a final release date. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in so stay tuned for all the latest news.
