Yesterday Bioware released a new teaser trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda, which invites fans to "join the Andromeda initiative" as humankind moves past the Milky Way. Orientation begins on November 7th, that's what the video descriptions says, with a clear nod to N7 Day when Bioware is supposed to reveal a lot more about Mass Effect Andromeda at long last.

　　However, there's no certainty yet that the game will release by March 2017 as promised. During yesterday's investor Q&A, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blake Jorgensen said that Electronic Arts could delay the game if need be.

　　 On the Mass Effect question, really our focus – the way to think about it is our focus is on building great games. Right now, Mass Effect is tracking extremely well. The game looks beautiful, and we're really pleased with its progress. However, as you've seen, we are willing to make moves in launch date if we feel it's necessary to deliver the right player experience. And our guidance assumes that Mass Effect continues to be in this year, but it gives us some flexibility that we might choose to move it either a week or three or four or five months if we have to based on what we want to make sure in terms of delivering the right experience for the player. So no news on Mass Effect other than we continue to have it in our guidance. And the moment that changes, we'll certainly let everyone know.

　　However, that is not on the cards yet, which is something. For the moment being, the only gameplay video we have of the game is the one released at the PlayStation 4 Pro reveal event; afterwards, it was confirmed that Mass Effect Andromeda will run at 1800P (3200x1800) resolution on the platform.
