Update: Square Enix has now released official pre-order and special edition details for Marvel’s Avengers. They’ve also dropped a brief new trailer, which you can check out, below.

　　Confirming what we previously reported, fans wanting some extra goodies and early access can grab the Marvel’s Avengers Deluxe Edition or Marvel’s Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Edition. The Deluxe Edition, which will set you back $80, includes six Obsidian hero outfits and 72-hours early access. Meanwhile, the Earth’s Mightiest Edition includes the following collectibles for $200:

　　Marvel's Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Edition features a full color 12” statue of Captain America, a copy of the Deluxe Edition, an exclusive SteelBook case, Hulk Bobblehead, Mjolnir Keychain, Black Widow’s Belt Buckle, Iron Man’s Prototype Amor Blueprints, Kamala Khan’s Honorary Avenger Pin, a commemorative Avengers group photo, and 72-hour early access.

　　Anyone who pre-orders any edition of Marvel’s Avengers will also receive beta access, an exclusive nameplate, and a Marvel Legacy Outfit Pack. At participating retailers, you can also get your choice of a limited-edition pin set, patch set, SteelBook case, or digital comic book.

　　Oh, and PS4 players are also getting some additional goodies – pre-order on the PlayStation Store and you get a Ms. Marvel dynamic them, an exclusive emote and nameplate, and yes, early access to the upcoming Avengers beta. The launch date for the beta has yet to be set.

　　Original Story: It’s a guarantee Marvel’s Avengers will come in a full range of special editions when it launches later this year, but, so far, Square Enix hasn’t provided any specific details. Right now, you can pre-order the standard edition of the game, and that’s it. Well, surprisingly, it seems a Marvel’s Avengers Deluxe Edition recently popped up on the Xbox Store. I would assume the listing was yanked soon after, but not before Twitter user Idle Sloth grabbed a screenshot…

　　Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t tell us what’s actually included in the Deluxe Edition or what the package will cost, but there is one big detail revealed – it seems Square Enix will be offering early access to those who pony up for a special edition. Marvel’s Avengers’ official release date is September 4, but the Deluxe Edition release date is 4 days earlier on August 31. Of course, the Deluxe Edition won’t be the only option for those looking to shell out some extra bucks – at Comic-Con 2019, Marvel’s Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Edition, which includes collectibles based on all five core team members, was unveiled. I assume Earth’s Mightiest Edition will also offer early access.
