Kevin Feige treated investors and fans to a lightning round of MCU Phase 4 updates during the Disney Investors Day live stream event, including updates for the upcoming MCU Disney+ TV shows WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki. But mixed in with the streaming TV offerings were updates on the cinematic side of the MCU, like the third film in the Ant-Man line-up, which now has a title and some new cast members.
Take a look at the title treatment, shared by Marvel on Twitter:
Director Peyton Reed will be returning to bring us Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will feature Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly reprising their roles as the titular heroes, as well as Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer returning as Hank Pym and Jan van Dyne. Kathryn Newton will be joining the cast to play a more grown up version of Scott Lang's daughter, Cassie Lang, and Jonathan Majors will be playing the villainous Kang the Conqueror.
This news came shortly before Feige confirmed that the Fantastic Four will be making their official MCU debut as well, and given that Kang is a descendent of Reed Richards in the comics, it seems likely that this movie will be one of the first places we begin to see hints of the F4 in this particular universe.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania does not currently have a release date set on the schedule.
