After barely scraping by in the tournament's Ro16, ever so slightly edging out Tyler 'NonY' Wasieleski, Maru 'MaSa' Kim went on to win the entire event in convincing fashion after defeating former ROOT Gaming team mate Ryan 'State' Visbeck in the tournament's grand final by a score of 4-2.
None of MaSa's games following the initial Ro16 reached a match-point, as he defeated the aforementioned State, as well as Dan 'ViBE' Scherlong in the next stage of the tournament, and finally eliminated Sam 'Kane' Morrissette in the semi-finals before doing battle with his former protoss comrade in the grand finals.
With last week's Twitch.tv Ender's Game tournament going the way of Chad 'Minigun' Jones, ROOT Gaming claimed both Ender's Game titles.
