Earlier today, Mark Cuban participated in a League of Legends show-match at the Intel Extreme Masters San Jose. In an interview that took place before the match, he was asked to respond to people like Colin Cowherd, who might have disparaging and stereotypical views of professional gamers:
"I love Colin [Cowherd] but he's an idiot. I'm a noob. I'm still getting into it, but I love it. It's like playing five-dimensional chess against the world. It's one of the smartest games I've ever played. You've got to have dexterity, and you've got to be quick. This is a real sport, and people are going to figure it out really, really quick."
When asked if he had plans to buy a team or invest in the scene, Cuban responded, "You're just going to have to stay tuned."
