A new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe trailer for the Nintendo Switch has been released by Nintendo.
The trailer focuses on how the game can be played at any time and everywhere using Nintendo’s upcoming hybrid platform. Check it out below:
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was confirmed earlier this month during Nintendo’s Switch Presentation. The racer won’t be a simple Wii U remaster, but will include new game modes, tracks, and new characters. The Switch allows for 4 players to play around the TV, while up to 8 players can play locally when undocked.
Hit the road with the definitive version of Mario Kart 8 and play anytime, anywhere! Race your friends or battle them in a revised battle-mode on new and returning battle courses. Play locally in up to 4-player multiplayer in 1080p while playing in TV Mode. Every track from the Wii U version, including DLC, makes a glorious return. Plus, the inklings appear as all-new guest characters, along with returning favorites, such as King Boo, Dry Bones, and Bowser Jr.!
The game will render in full HD 1080p when playing the game docked. When racing in portable mode, Mario Kart 8 will most probably render in 720p.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will release on April 28 for the Nintendo Switch.
