EA has revealed that it met with 15 top NCAA coaches during the development of March Madness 2003. The coaches provided their own scouting reports on each of the teams in the NCAA and suggested offensive and defensive strategies, all of which is intended to add to the realism of the game. Here's a list of the coaches consulted during the game's development:

Roy Williams - Kansas (Big 12)
Mike Jarvis - St. John's (Big East)
Pat Kennedy - Montana (Big Sky)
Tommy Amaker - Michigan (Big Ten)
Tom Creen - Marquette (Conference USA)
John Thompson Jr. - Princeton (Ivy League)
Tim Buckley - Ball State (MAC)
Rick Majerus - Utah (Mountain West)
Ben Braun - Cal (Pac-10)
Billy Donovan - Florida (SEC)
Fran McCaffrey - UNC-Greensboro (Southern)
Riley Wallace - Hawaii (WAC)
Mark Few - Gonzaga (WCC)
EA also announced that Brad Nessler and Dick Vitale, who cover NCAA games together for ESPN, will provide the color commentary for NCAA March Madness 2003. For more details, consult our previous coverage .
