Marc Ecko tags the Web-October 2024
Oct 26, 2024 10:18 PM

Marc Ecko's Getting Up sure has seen difficulties getting onto store shelves. The game, which follows a graffiti writer earning respect by tagging up a fictional city, has been the target of politicians and activists who think it teaches kids to deface property. A block party to celebrate the game and the culture it represents also met with opposition but was allowed to proceed by a judge.

Getting up the Getting Up Web site proved to be much more straightforward, as the publisher today announced that the game's Internet portal has gone live.

The Web page offers the standard fare, including game information, news, screenshots, videos, and interviews. The site also features a blog that details Ecko's childhood penchant for wearing underwear and capes, a description and timeline of some of the most famous graffiti artists, and MP3s from Definitive Jux's RJD2, who provides music for the game.

Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure will be released on the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 in November. The game is awaiting rating information and will sell for $49.99.
