Young MC may have fallen off the cultural radar, but the Bust-A-Move franchise is still going. Today, Majesco announced it is bringing a new game in Taito's venerable puzzle franchise to the Xbox. Due this fall, Ultra Bust-A-Move will mark the first game in the series to appear on the Microsoft-made console. Previous current-generation hardware installments were published by Ubisoft for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube.
The new game features five new puzzle types and hundreds of new individual puzzles. As before, gameplay will consist of attaching bubbles to like-colored bubbles, causing them all to pop. Ultra Bust-A-Move will also have some new features, including Xbox Live functionality with head-to-head play. Other Xbox Live features supported will be a friends list, voice, Xbox Live Aware, and a ranking system.
