The first Mafia III trailer is finally out, and you can check it out below. Despite the obvious fact that it's been made with CG, it pretty much confirms the '70 setting (to be precise, it's set in 1968) and shows the main protagonist, Lincoln Clay, along with his small crew (Cassandra, Burke and even Vito from Mafia II). His main objective is to dismantle the Italian mob in New Orleans.
Five years after the release of Mafia II, fans of the franchise can look forward to a new chapter developed by Hangar 13, a new studio made of industry veterans and located near San Francisco.
According to their website, Hangar 13 is using a proprietary engine for Mafia III instead of a third party one such as CryENGINE, Unreal Engine 4 or Unity 5. The game will be out in 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
