Mafia 3, the new entry of the series developed by Hangar 13, has recently received its first patch on PC, which finally allows players to play the game at framerates higher than 30 FPS. Even with these new framerate options, some still don't like how the game looks, but thankfully there's a way to make it look somewhat better with a rather small performance cost.
A few hours ago, Steam user Nyclix shared the latest version of his Color / Blur Removal ReShade preset, which makes the game look noticeably better. A couple of comparison screenshots have also been made available, and you can check them out right below.

To get the best possible experience, the following settings are recommended.
RECOMMENDED INGAME SETTINGS
With the latest update and the settings below I get 60-90 fps on an i5 3570k at 4.4ghz and a 980ti at 2560x1440 resolution. Windows 10.
Depth of Field: On
Field of View: Personal preference, higher is better. I use 90
Global Quality Preset:
Custom Fullscreen: On
Vsync: Off <-- Optional but I disable it.
Ambient Occulsion: High
Motion Blur: On
Geometry Detail: High
Shadow Detail: High <-- Reducing to low effects distant shadows but doesn't seem to effect fps much
Reflection Detail: Low <-- HIGH fps cost, negligible visual difference
Volumetric Effects: Low <--- HIGH fps cost, negligible visual difference
Antialiasing: High <-- Works best with current sharpening setting
