GDC London today announced the keynote speaker for its conference program will be Chris Williams of LucasArts. Williams is currently the company's project lead, working with effects gurus Industrial Light & Magic on the forthcoming Indiana Jones game. His address, to be delivered October 4, will be titled "Unlearn What You Have Learned: Implementing Next-Gen Gameplay" and, as its name suggests, will focus on making the experience of next-gen gameplay better, rather than simply prettier. Attendees will get a firsthand look at some real-time tech demos and tools that LucasArts is using in its game development. GDC London will take place October 2 to 4 in London.
