LucasArts has officially announced Wrath Unleashed for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. In the game, players will be able to control an army of mythical creatures in an attempt to gain control over magical lands controlled by various overlords. Players can control up to four overlords as well as 25 creatures, including dragons, unicorns, juggernauts, and demons. When two sides compete for one of the magical lands, the game switches to a full 3D arena where players can take direct control of their beasts and perform attacks or cast a variety of magical spells. However, the land they're fighting for will also come into play, as earthquakes, floods, and storms can affect the outcome of a battle.

"The game offers players a truly 'fantasmical' experience by introducing some of the most magnificent creatures ever seen in a fantasy universe. Wrath Unleashed turns traditional mythology on its head."
