Infogrames stopped by on Thursday with the latest beta of Lost in Time, its PlayStation adventure/platform game starring Bugs Bunny.
Essentially, Bugs gets lost in time (hence the name) and must collect clocks to find his way back. He collects golden carrots for access to the bonus levels (there are three) and regular carrots for health. The game is fairly nonlinear, as you can explore the worlds in any order you choose (provided you have enough carrots to gain access), and you can go back and forth from world to world. The '30s, the Stone Age, the medieval period, the future, and the pirate years make up the environments - and Merlin's Nowhere Land is the practice world where you learn your moves (jumping, rolling, and so on). Merlin acts as a sort of guide throughout the game, by the way; he's kind of creepy, and he has a weird beanie thing on his head - not exactly Arthur's Merlin, but apparently Warner Bros.' version.
The game has 22 levels total - 19 main levels, plus the three bonus ones. Throughout them, Bugs encounters various other Warner Bros. characters - Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Witch Hazel, Marvin the Martian, and '30s crooks Rocky and Mugsy. You'll have two views, first person and third person, and the camera rotates a full 360 degrees, so there's not much you can't see. The game is primarily targeted at the 8 - 14-year-old audience and Bugs Bunny fans, and it's due out this June.
