Longtime Kirby villain King Dedede will be bringing his sizable hammer to Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS, Nintendo has confirmed.

　　Dedede, who presumably believes he has the divine right to rule as King of Dream Land, first joined Nintendo's ensemble brawler with the Wii's Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He is the 21st character confirmed for the upcoming fighting game, joining the likes of Zelda, Rosalina, Marth, Sonic, and Mega Man.

　　Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS is due for release at some point in 2014, though Nintendo recently confirmed that it's not going to be in the spring.
