Square Enix announced that Life is Strange 2 will launch on February 2, 2023, for Nintendo Switch.
The game doesn't have the many updated features as the Life is Strange Remastered Collection, such as improved graphical textures and character animations. However, all five chapters will be available from the very start instead of being released episodically.
Life is Strange 2 was the last entry in the franchise that developer Dont Nod Entertainment created. The franchise was then handed over to Deck Nine Games, which developed Life is Strange: True Colors. Life is Strange's first episode was released in September 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The last episode concluded its story in December 19.
In GameSpot's Life is Strange 2: Episode 5 review, we said, "Though the story of the Diaz brothers arrives at some kind of ending, the larger implications of the story and its politically-charged themes raise more questions than they can possibly hope to answer, though to even ask them feels like an admirable feat."
