It's no secret that the world of Harry Potter has captured the imagination of young and old alike, bridging the cross-generational gap like nothing before it. Nowhere was this more evident than at the launch of Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 in Sydney on Sunday, July 4, where parents and children joined together in the magical spirit.

　　Teaming up with Sydney University, Warner Bros Entertainment used the majestic Grand Hall to stage a four-hour open-to-the-public event that attracted over 100 people. Highlights included a Harry Potter dress-up competition, PlayStation 3 consoles with copies of the game for everyone to play, yummy cupcakes and apples (just like at Hogwarts!), a Lego play area, and a theatrette playing the Harry Potter films.
