Infogrames has announced the shipment of Test Drive Le Mans for the Game Boy Color to stores this week. Test Drive Le Mans offers ten officially licensed team cars, including the BMW V12 LMR, the Panoz Roadster LMP, the Audi R8R, the Toyota GT-ONE, and more. It also features 24 unique courses, including the Le Mans 24- Hours track in Sarthe, France. Gameplay modes include Le Mans, championship, and arcade.
"Test Drive Le Mans is the perfect game to test your Game Boy's endurance," said Laddie Ervin, director of marketing for sports and racing games at Infogrames. "Players must plan pit stops, battle ever-changing weather conditions, and survive a day-to-night-to-day challenge - it's a game of skill and staying power."
Test Drive Le Mans will be available for an estimated retail price of US$29.99 and will offer a battery cartridge so players can save games.
