Blizzard has deployed Diablo 4 PC Patch 1.0.2i which aims to address an annoying issue with the Necromancer character selection screen.
Since the game launched in early access last week, we've already received several patches for Blizzard's latest Diablo entry. Today's update is a PC-specific patch that fixes an issue for Necromancer characters where players could get stuck at the character selection screen for some reason. In addition, this brand-new PC-only update addresses an issue that caused control inputs to bug out when a player teleporting or zoning in and out of a dungeon.
Also, Diablo 4 PC patch 1.0.2i fixes a graphical issue with black flashing textures after a player teleports into specific towns. The patch notes don't mention which towns, but this should no longer be an issue after installing this update.
It's good to mention that Blizzard also rolled out a patch across all platforms earlier that included various stability and bug fixes. Additional details about the specific bug fixes weren't provided.
Diablo 4 is available globally now for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. As reported some days ago, the game has already become Blizzard's fastest-selling game to date with players playing the game over 93 million hours.
“This is a moment years in the making for the Diablo IV team,” said Rod Fergusson, General Manager of the Diablo franchise. “We’re extremely proud to offer players the richest story ever told in a Diablo game. Players have a range of choices, including personal character customization, equipping personalized skills for battling horrific demons, or collecting Legendary loot to support your playstyle while discovering new ones. Since the game was first announced in 2019, the support from millions of players around the world drove us toward this release of our dark vision of Sanctuary. Hail Lilith, Blessed Mother.”
