Oct 21, 2024 11:03 PM

Fundraising event the Lame Game Marathon is returning for its third annual run. The event sees three Australian gamers play the "worst games ever made" non-stop for 24 hours to raise money for charity.

One of the many games lined up for the marathon. Funds raised will be donated to charity organisation UNICEF. The event will be hosted on a live stream, and will kick off on October 26 at 10 a.m. AEST.

Audiences will be able to watch Dan Camilleri, Mark Dawes and Luke "Dukey" Wigley play through over 20 games across a range of platforms. Viewers will also have the chance to win prize giveaways on the live stream.

Last year, the Lame Game Marathon raised over A$7,300 in donations. Over 3,500 viewers tuned in to last year's 24-hour live stream.

More details on the Lame Game Marathon, including how to donate, can be found on the website.
