Previously, GameSpot News reported that Konami would release DrumMania 2 and BeatMania II for the Sony PlayStation2. Today, the two titles are officially listed in the release roster in Japanese gaming publications.
Both sports titles, Jikkyo World Soccer 2000 and Jikkyo Powerful Pro Baseball 7, are now currently slated for a June release in Japan, as well. The company expects to ship 200,000 copies and 400,000 copies of the game, respectively.
Lastly, the Sydney Olympic 2000 title for the PS2, the N64, the DC, and the Game Boy are scheduled for a release sometime in late August. The company commented that it would add more staff members to increase its development team from 200 to 250 people to support the new titles.
