There may be a new Metal Gear Solid collection in the works. Series creator Hideo Kojima tweeted a picture today of artwork for an unannounced game with the caption "Checking."
The image includes various renderings of series protagonist Snake, from the original game through Peace Walker, suggesting a comprehensive compilation pack is on the way.
Lending credence to the possibility of a new Metal Gear Solid collection is a listing from the Korean Game Ratings Board (via NeoGAF) for a Metal Gear Solid: Legacy Collection.
A Konami representative was not immediately available to comment.
The latest Metal Gear Solid compilation pack was 2011's Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, which includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
