Koei titles get optimized-December 2024
Dec 27, 2024 1:15 AM

TOKYO--Game publisher Koei and graphics card manufacturer Nvidia have established a partnership in Japan, the companies announced today. Starting with Koei's Nobunaga's Ambition Online, which was released in Japan today, all PC games developed by Koei will be optimized to run on systems running with Nvidia's graphics cards.

"We are delighted to have formed an alliance with the world's leader in graphics processor manufacturing and technology. We can now satisfy the demands of our PC game enthusiasts, who tend to have the highest standards," Kenji Matsuhara, executive in charge of Koei's online game division said in a statement.

This is not the first time a Japanese console game maker has teamed with Nvidia in the PC sector. Before merging with Enix, Square also formed an alliance with Nvidia, collaborating with them in the development of Square's Final Fantasy XI for the PC.
