From Software has announced King's Field IV for the Japanese PlayStation 2. The King's Field series attempts to combine a first-person 3D style of gameplay with RPG elements such as locating objects, upgrading weapons, dungeon exploration, and fighting dragons and other creatures. The only information available on the PlayStation 2 incarnation of the series is that it will be released in March 2001.
On a related note, From Software also confirmed Kurikuri Mix for the PlayStation 2. The game carries a December 2000 release date. We will have more information soon.
