The new season of Killer Instinct is right behind the corner, and it seems like the team behind it has a lot in store. Alongside with balance changes, new characters and new features, the Killer Instinct Season 3 will introduce several interesting changes that will place both veterans and newcomers on the same level once the season begins.

　　According to what a recent livestream has revealed recently, all ranks will be reset to Qualifier rank when the season begins. Although this will match newcomers to players who have achieved higher ranks in previous seasons in the first few days of availability, this is definitely the best choice to level the field and give everyone a fair chance. Also, stats will not be reset, so it will be easy to see if players have been playing the game in previous seasons.

　　More changes have also been revealed recently. According to the recent livestream, Gold matches will be best 2 out 3. It's also been confirmed that reaching Killer rank and being inactive for too long, will bring back the rank to Gold, which is another great idea to keep the ranking system as fair as possible.

　　A couple of days back, more details have come in on the Killer Instinct Season 3 bundles. The richest bundle, and the more experience, will be the Killer Instinct Season 3 Supreme Edition, which will include all characters from previous seasons as well as plenty of additional content and bonuses.
