Kesmai likes its Air Warrior tourneys. Every time one turns around, it seems, they're holding one. The recent Ultimate Pilots Tourney was merely the latest... OK, make that second-latest.
Kesmai plans to run the Air Warrior III Afrika '42 tournament from October 21 through November. An Air Warrior III historical scenario based in late 1942 and early 1943, after the Allied "Torch" landings in Africa, will be the basis for the tournament. Players will be able to compete as German or Allied forces.
The tournament is open to all registered GameStorm players. Sign-up will stop on October 6 or when all slots are filled. Tournament players will compete in six frames, which will run through October and November.
The contest is cosponsored by Telex Computer Audio Group, a supplier of computer microphones noise-canceling headsets, and other computer-audio applications. Telex is ponying up 100 Nomad computer headsets (which can be used with Air Warrior III's voice technology) as prizes for the tourney; the headsets will go to the top 100 finishers.
