Jurassic World 3 is coming, with director Colin Trevorrow (who directed the first Jurassic World) returning. The film is due to release on June 11, 2021, and according to Trevorrow's Twitter, work has begun on the animatronics that will be used in the film.
The tweet shows a baby dinosaur with two horns--it looks like a developing triceratops, but we're no dinosaur experts [UPDATE: It's a nasutoceratops, according to game artist Jon Davies.] It's no Baby Yoda, but it's still pretty cute.

In a later tweet, Trevorrow credited John Nolan Studios for the baby dinosaur model.
The director, who was fired from Star Wars Episode IX before his version could go into production, jokingly replied to one Twitter user asking if he would give his dinosaurs lightsabers with the following image.

Jurassic World 3 is due to release on June 11, 2021. Sam Neill and Laura Dern will return to the franchise after a long absence, and director Colin Trevorrow has previously said that it will be closer to the original Jurassic Park in tone than its sequels. Several side-characters from the first Jurassic World movie are also returning. Bryce Dallas-Howard and Chris Pratt will also return for the new movie.
In September 2019, Trevorrow released a short film in the Jurassic World universe, Battle at Big Rock, which was generally well received.
