Jung 'RapidStar' Min-sung, midlaner of CJ Frost retires
Jung 'RapidStar' Min-sung, midlaner of CJ Frost retires-October 2024
Oct 19, 2024 3:15 PM

This article was originally published on GameSpot's sister site onGamers.com, which was dedicated to esports coverage.

Min-sung has over the years been considered one of the most consistent mid players in the world, which made the thought of him retiring seem like a very foreign concept. But with CJ Frost's recent shortcomings, it seems like RapidStar has placed their recent results on his own conscience, and determines that Frost can't find success with him on the roster.

In his own official retirement video, supplied by CJ Entus, he elaborates on why he feels like this is the time to retire for him, as he "no longer feel when we win, or even when we lose".

RapidStar has been a name within esports ever since League of Legends took off in Korea. After winning the first ever competition in the game hosted by OGN, where they defeated CLG 2-0 in the grand final, he's also been part of a total of five grand finals appearances, which include three seasons of OGN The Champions, Season 2 World finals and an IEM World finals.
