U.S. sales results for the month of July have been released by the NPD, and the Nintendo Switch was the best-selling hardware platform for that month, thereby outselling both the PS4 and Xbox One.

　　Games sales for July were up by 19% year-over-year, while hardware sales were up 29%, and according to NPD analyst Mat Piscatella, “performance of the Nintendo Switch continues to be the primary cause of the year-on-year gains.”

　　The Switch’s hardware sales were driven by new inventory released in support of the release of Splatoon 2, which became the best-selling game for the Month of July. Another interesting feat is that “three of the month’s top seven best-selling games are published by Nintendo”, and Nintendo also was “the best-selling software publisher in July.” Down below you’ll find the top 20 of best-selling games for July in the U.S. according to the NPD:
