Scheduled for September 15-21 in Chesapeake, Virginia, the 28th Annual U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship has received sponsorship from games publisher Jaleco.
Upward of 250 of the world's premier pro pool players--among them Earl "The Pearl" Strickland, "The Magician" Efren Reyes, and Ralf Souquet--will compete for one of the sport's biggest and most prestigious titles.
Jaleco's World Championship Pool 2004, developed by Manchester's Blade Interactive Studios, is a pool sim with TV-style presentation. The game is planned for simultaneous release on the GameCube, PC, PS2 and Xbox this November.
