I'm a huge Halo fan. I think Halo 1 was perfect. I think Halo 2's multiplayer was amazing. And this is a huge PC games fan saying this. I cut my teeth on the PC. My favorite games all run on DOS! I just built a monster Vista machine. But I gotta give props to Halo. The series has a combustible mix of perfect gameplay, awesome multiplayer, memorable characters, an engaging story, and a great setting. And while I'm neutral on other Halo projects, like Halo Wars, I cannot wait for Halo 3.
Tonight has me so excited that I even called up my younger brother (a Halo freak if ever there was one) to tell him the news.
"Hey, did I tell you that I was playing Halo 3 on Friday?" I asked.
"Hey, did I tell you that you suck!" he responded, without missing a beat. "That's more game than you can handle!"
To be fair, he's a Halo assassin. He acquits himself very, very well in Halo tournaments around Seattle, which is no small feat. He loves Halo. He loves whipping me in Halo. So I'll make sure to really rub it in Saturday morning. Hahahahaha.
