Sega announced today that a dance club mix featuring music and sounds from the Saturn game Fighters MegaMix will be released. Fighters: The Sega Project will debut Friday, July 25, on Los Angeles radio station KLYY.
The song will be available on Sega's website in August and then be included on a new CD from German DJ Commander Tom in September.
DJ Trax magazine will distribute the single to DJs throughout Los Angeles in an effort to promote the song among the city's clubs, and radio stations in both Los Angeles and New York will be giving away the single to listeners after Friday's debut. "We feel the mix accurately conveys all the action found in the game, while staying true to the dance club scene," said San Francisco DJ, DJ MARS.
