The Iron Man game currently in development by EA Motive Studio will apparently be powered by Unreal Engine 5, according to a job ad discovered online.
The ad, which can be found on the Electronic Arts' official website, is for an audio software developer whose responsibilities will be to design and develop advanced audio systems, tools, and pipelines, implement and integrations of audio assets, optimize audio systems, and more. In the Integration and Implementation section of the ad, it's made clear that the integration of audio assets and the implementation of sound effects are done in Unreal Engine 5.
Unfortunately, the ad doesn't tell us much about this Iron Man game, and the fact that the team is still recruiting developers suggests that the game is still very far from release, so it is unlikely we will hear more about it in the near future.
The Iron Man game in development by EA Motive Studio was officially confirmed last year with a statement from Bill Rosemann, Vice President and Creative Director at Marvel Games, and Olivier Proulx, Executive Producer at Motive. The game was still in pre-production when it was officially announced, but it's likely it has entered actual production once Motive Studio completed works on the Dead Space remake, which was released earlier this year on PC and consoles.
