Insider: “Vastly” Increased Nintendo NX Game Output Due To “Radical” Change In Nintendo Strategy-November 2024
Nov 16, 2024 5:31 PM

Nintendo insider, Emily Rogers, has shared why people should be excited about the software output for the upcoming Nintendo NX. According to Rogers, Nintendo has changed their main development and production process which allows them to vastly increase the NX's software output.

Rogers recently shared additional ‘leaked’ details on the upcoming Zelda for the Wii U, and according to Rogers, also for the NX. Additionally, Rogers also claimed that 4 Wii U ports are heading to the upcoming NX. Yesterday, Rogers also debunked the recent ‘leaks’ from Neogaf user 10K, stating that his info regarding the console’s GPU and power were incorrect.

In a new post on her blog, Rogers now explains why gamers should be excited about the software for the NX, which will “blow away the Wii U’s software output". At least, that is what Rogers now claims in  her post. According to Rogers, “in a single year, the NX will build a larger library of games than Wii U produced in three or four years”.

This claim is based on several facts, that sources close to Rogers allegedly told her.

The big fundamental focal point (and overall goal) behind NX is to vastly increase the software output from Nintendo’s first party teams and studios. To accomplish this, the entire process of how Nintendo develops and produces software has gone through radical changes. There is a new strategy that was put in place to create and release first party software at a faster rate.Multiple unannounced Wii U projects were moved over to NX.The NX could potentially see the highest output of first party software in the company’s history. (I’m talking about the entire lifespan of NX. Not just one or two years.)Rogers continues by explaining that Nintendo probably won’t be announcing all of their NX news during the upcoming E3 event, but rather save some announcements for later events. If what Rogers claims is correct, gamers will enough NX titles at their disposal on a “regular basis”.
